2020 Hubert Lamy Santenay 'Clos des Hates Rouge' large format and a surprising elegance forFrom Terroir: Bordered by 1er Cru Passetemps, deeper clay limestone topsoil. From Santenay, Burgundy, France. Critical Acclaim: Rich dense purple, from the nose you know that the grapes got ripe but there is absolutely no feeling of excess. A little bit tougher on the palate, firm tannins, and this will need time to integrate. The fruit is riper but the structure even fresher. Drink from 2026 2032. Tasted Nov 2022. 90 points out of 100.
