Victorian Malachite Snake Earrings Moonstone The ring measures 1A charming pair of Victorian malachite sphere earrings, each bead encircled by a sinuous 9ct gold snake motif and suspended from 9ct gold shepherds hook fittings. Dating from circa 1870, the design reflects the Victorian fascination with symbolism, the serpent representing eternity and protection. The malachite balls are 1cm diameter and 2. 8cm high including the shepherds hooks.
