The domed brooch has a 9K yellow gold and silver floral bouquet in the center with a circle motif around the outside. The pique pin has a concave back with a tubular and c clasp closure. This looks splendid as a pendant suspended from a gold chain. Excellent craftsmanship. The technique for making pique, inlaying gold and silver into shell or ivory, was brought to England by the Huguenots
