The opal displays eye catching striations. The shell is elegantly framed and capped in rich 18ct yellow gold mount complementing the organic form of the opal. Circa 1960. It is stamped 750 to the reverse, denoting 18ct gold, and bears a makers mark. With a Victorian 15ct Gold Chain. A distinctive and stylish jewel, full of mid century charm and luminous character.
