Castello di Ama Vin Santo del Chianti Classico, Tuscany, Italy 2015 375ml Kitsukura Black fruits come nextCrazy aromas of wild hyacinths, blueberries, rose petals, lilies, jasmine, incense, black plums and dark chocolate. Hints of earth and mushrooms, too. The complexity is off the scale. The palate is all about the acidity, which could be edgy enough to throw you off a cliff, but the seamless tannins and beautiful, long finish are also unmistakable in their beauty and finesse.
