Balvenie 12 Year Doublewood Single Malt Scotch l3 owned by Michel Sajous inOne of the first modern Scotches to advertise it's secondary cask finishing, this now classic malt is aged for 12 years in ex bourbon barrels before being re casked in refill sherry casks for another several months. The result is a gentle and sweet whisky that is hard not to love. Aromas of tropical fruits, honey, vanilla, and a subtle nuttiness greet you. The palate follows with more honeyed sweetness, toasty oak spice, apple, raisin, cocoa powder,
