This is a hand crafted recorder after Jacob Denner (16811735). The bore shape is based on concepts that were developed in the Denner family workshop, in particular by Jacob Denner. The Denner family from Nuremberg were one of the most important and influential woodwind makers. Modern processes have made it possible to achieve a sound quality that was previously only a characteristic of low pitch
