A combo of French oak and stainless steel yields a wine that is crisp and clean at first: smell and taste green apple, fresh lemon wedge and steely minerality; followed closely behind by just a bit of buttery richness: brioche, lemon custard and a hint of vanilla. Acidic edge is tamed by textural creaminess. We think its a lovely bridge between the two styles.
