Pixan 15 yrs 40% 700ml mezcal-union On the palate the winePixan: the ambitious bet to put Mexican rums in the spotlight on the rum scene. With 15 year old Pixan rum, Francisco Barrenechea, Sergio Valles and Diego Martinez offer us a molasses rum aged in ex Bourbon casks of great complexity. Its nose opens with aromas of toasted almonds, notes of coconut appear and are enveloped in blond tobacco. The smooth palate evolves into flavours of stewed fruit.
