South-southeast exposure and a mix of oceanic and continental climate
black fruit is almost always dominated by plum aromas together with mineral and chocolate notes
and the fermentation generally lasts from four to 10 weeks
There seems already to be a bit more focus and composure under the new team
Here it gets to showcase its own identity as a table wine
M. Chapoutier Côtes du Roussillon Villages Rouge ‘Visitare Interiorae Terrae’ 2015 Size::1 Bottle South-southeast exposure and a mixAppearance: the colour is garnet red, very steady, deep and brilliant with purple lights. Nose: open, expressive and complex with aromas of very ripe black fruits (elderberry, blackberry), some spicy scents (pepper, Garrigue). Palate: great attack, tight but silky tannins. One notices a dominance of spicy scents, a lot of richness, a good length and a very ethereal final.
