Brenne Single Malt Whiskey "Estate Cask" Tequila and Mezcal Fruity smokey on the noseDistilled and aged in Cognac, France, from two strains of estate grown barley. The Alembic Charentais still used is likely responsible for the more fruity, cognac like quality of the whiskey. The "Estate Cask" starts its life in new Limousin (Cognac), oak then at some point transferred into wet XO Cognac barrels (meaning they haven't been disassembled, dried, etc). Average 6 8 years. Fruity and creme brle nose, with red berries and dried flowers. On
