Tasted last week
tannic second wine that looks like it will need a few years in bottle to come together
the wines are made by the traditional method
Training: Spurred cordon for the old vineyards and Guyot for the new plots
bay leaf and fresh herbs
Oakridge Local Vineyard Hazeldene Pinot Noir 2022 Size::1 Bottle Tasted last weekFullish straw with green hints. Strongly varietal with a twist of complexity punchy and perfumed with jasmine floral passionfruit lemon balm and Thai basil then the more mineral and savoury cordite wet stones white flowers. The palate has both depth of flavour and polish. Even textural with a lime leaf acidity that carries the wine to a long persistent finish.
