Herman Miller Nelson Fireplace Caddy face Movement: Automatic WERK 04In 1947, George Nelson was named the Director of Design for Herman Miller. While overseeing designers like Ray and Charles Eames and Richard Schultz, he produced his own pieces, including the Nelson Fireplace Caddy. It was initially produced in 1950 and features an updated construction with a powder coated steel frame, solid walnut dowels, and a canvas sling. Durable and functional, the mid century accessory is a welcome addition to modern firesides.
