Winemaker's Comments: To make our Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

tangy acidity

Pinot Noir is still a relatively new variety for the Orange region but it is showing excellent promise in this cool mountainous continental climate

Darroze 1990 Tucom GBA 48.5% 700ml pouilly-fuissé The palate starts off boldBeautiful amber color with golden highlights. A nose of dried fruits (almond, fig, hazelnuts), candied fruits (dates) and fine spices (gingerbread, cloves). Superb. On the palate, the tannins are silky. We find these aromas of dried fruits, leather, and coffee. Good length.
