COLIN STETSON - The Love It Took To Leave You DLP Death Rock Downey formed Frightening Lights withFollowing the album 'When we were that what wept from the sea', which won the JUNO Award last year, 'The love it took to leave you' contains eleven new pieces full of emotional music. The album was recorded during a week in 2023 at the Darling Foundry, a 144 year old former metal factory in Montral that still retains its raw architecture of brick, concrete and steel. From the first piece of the album, Stetson embarks on a carefully balanced journey
