Bold in contrast against oxidized sterling silver, 14k gold and bright sterling silver nail shapes are studded into the surface while a burnished edge makes them sparkle. This deliberately mismatched pair of earrings hangs from an ear hook and is handcrafted in the artist's Providence, Rhode Island studio.
