The gold stone is pinkish with gold glittery flecks through out. The hinges are well made and allow the 1. 5 inch components to move and settle. It is a true choker adjusting to 18 inches. The links are cast, not stamped, so have a nice weight and feel to them. This metal and faux stone necklace is circa 1950 and made by a high end costume jewelry
