Yellow Branch - Large Product:Medium Oxidized recycled steel"Yellow Branch" is a work on paper done from on site drawing of the trees in the forest near the artist's studio in southwestern Colorado. The abstract shapes come from marks on the trunks of the trees and create a contrast with the linear aspects of the branches. She uses a combination of watercolor and gouache for an interplay between subtle, transparent areas and opaque, saturated color. The lines are hand drawn with a steel nib pen. Small giclee
